Sorry for some delay in my posts , but times have been with me encountering almost no new gadgets for the last 2-3 weeks. But I was very interested in blackberry’s latest Curve series 8520 mostly because of its price point of Rs. 15,990/- (335$) . I was first impressed by 8900 Javelin because of its impressive display and the RIM OS and I had also a brief view on Pearl a while back.
The 8520 seems to be targeted at a younger audience and its affordable budget (compared to other blackberrys), its new optical trackpad and solid features makes it a very interesting smartphone. Mind you I have’nt seen it in the flesh, but some video reviews and other reviews on the net has made me more curious on this blackberry. And moreover AirTel’s personal blackberry mail plan for Rs. 300/- makes it much more inviting.
Sites like crackberry have shown me how blackberry has all the latest networking tools, cool themes making it a viable smartphone for young techies .If anyone wants to write down their views on BB8520 you are always welcome to add it to the comments section.
Something which I would have liked to see are a FM Radio and a LED flash maybe
