A long time back I’ve listed out some Symbian websites ,now symbian has changed to a open source foundation and they have revamped their logo / site and the ideas in them interesting. And at a time when Series 60V5 devices like 5800,N97, Satio,Omnia HD are hitting the market, here are some symbian dedicated sites I follow,

Symbian.Org – The official site of symbian completely revamped and they also have a ideas section where users can submit their own ideas
Symbian Freak : As the site name suggest its for Symbian freaks, lots of resources and information
Symbian Guru : This site is also a excellent resource for symbian phones and software
SymbianWorld : A nice blog with news and information on S60 and Symbian

I have always wanted to keep track of latest offers and deals from the various Indian mobile service providing companies. And here are some of the sites I found useful for these information

Mobigyaan – Provides latest deals and offers from all mobile service providers and its regularly updated
Mobile India – Another good blog to look up on various deals and offers of mobile service providers
TechTree – Not a dedicated portal for offers and deals but covers all the latest press releases from the major telecom providers
TataDocomo@Twitter – For people who want to follow Tata docomo’s offers and deals here is their official twitter page
Indianomics : More of a telecom news and trends blog but gives all the latest information and news on the Indian telecom and mobile market.

Here are some sites you could get a plethora of information on Sony Ericsson,

SEMCBlog – A nice site with lots of inside info on sony ericsson codenames, rumors, upcoming phones etc. . A must visit for every SE fan
P1i Blog – A blog on anything and everything related to SE P1i and other UIQ related stuff
Mobilelah Blog – Another blog site to track various SE related news. But recently there seems to be little update on this site
DailyMobile – A blog site tracking and giving out news on almost any mobile news floating out there. Concentrating mainly on Nokia Series 60 phones and sony ericsson phones.

Note: Last but not the least, for those who are not aware there seems to be SE announcement on June 17th. So people on the lookout for new phones better wait for a couple of weeks to see what’s in store

Sprucing up my K550i

I’ve come across many dedicated theme sites for my mobile phone, but here at Deviantart there are high quality themes, wallpapers not only for your phones but also for your pc, laptop.

One of my favourties was a ubuntu theme and my kudos to all the designers out there for their creativity. Here you can find a list of themes for K550i (can be used for K750i,W810i,W550i,K610i etc). For other phones just use the search bar in the site, you wont be disappointed.

For people who want more customization like changing their icons on the main menu here is a excellent site with various menu packs and here is a tutorial to make it work. As a word of caution please follow the instructions carefully before proceeding with any of these menu modding stuff.
